Coronavirus Update – Letter to Clients

March 25, 2020

Amid ongoing concern about the coronavirus COVID-19, Just Like Family Home Care’s top priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and Caregivers. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing around the evolving situation, and we’re committed to being responsive and flexible to our clients’ needs.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be a growing concern around the world and remains an extremely fluid situation. First and foremost, our hearts go out to those who have been personally impacted by this virus, whether because of the illness itself or the disruption and complication to your daily lives. This isn’t a situation anyone wants to be in.

At Just Like Family Home Care’s, we are taking this situation very seriously and closely monitoring recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other public health agencies to keep you and our team members safe. I’m proud of our Independent Contractor Caregivers in our registry who are also focused on the safety of their clients to help prevent the spread of this virus.

Within our registry, we are actively reinforcing proper handwashing as well as hygiene and health standards with our team and caregivers. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting high traffic areas of our office. Our owner-operators in your communities are taking necessary steps to monitor their team members’ health and provide proper guidance for their well-being. We are committed to being responsive to new recommendations from public health organizations. We appreciate your continued understanding as we all navigate through this time of uncertainty.

During these challenging times, we take our commitment to this mission very seriously.  Please feel confident that our team members will do everything possible to provide a safe environment for our clients.

As always, thank you for being a customer and for your continued trust as we manage through this time together.

Kind regards,

Fawn Ponciano, Executive Director/Administrator
